So just what is Sous Vide cooking?
Sous Vide cooking is a method of cooking food in a vacuum packed bag at relatively low temperatures but with long cooking times. It has been used by top chefs in restaurants and hotels throughout the UK for some years now. Through exposure on many TV cooking shows such as Saturday Kitchen and Masterchef it is also gaining popularity in home cooking.
The purpose of this website is to provide information on buying and using Sous Vide cookers or 'water baths' as they are also known.
